Wednesdays, 6:30 pm-8:00 pm STUDIO B
Instructor Dena Beratta
Infinite Light Yoga classes are based on the principles of classical yoga. You will be guided through centering, pranayama (breathing), warm-ups, asanas (postures), and relaxation; encouraged to fine your "edge", working at your own level and honoring your body in it's current state of health. Class is led using progressions and modifications so that each student will be comfortable, yet still challenged, as they explore the connection between mind, body, and spirit. Give it a try regardless of your age and fitness level. You have nothing to lose and so much to gain.
The practice of yoga is available and accessible for every person and every body. In addition to countless health benefits, it is a wonderful gateway to self discovery, inner peace and joy, as well as creativity and productivity. The practice of yoga enhances all other areas of life, and I am excited to share my knowledge and love of the practice with you.
Infinite Light Yoga classes are taught in five locations by a dynamic group of teachers. This arrangement offers students the flexibility to go to any other classes with any teacher at any of their locations. We have three classes here at the Wellness Center; Mondays and Fridays, 9:30-11:00 am and Tuesdays at 6:00 pm. For other times and locations see the website below. Your first class is free.

Yin Yoga
Instructor Tina Ramsden
Studio A
Yin yoga is a calming, meditative, nurturing, restorative, but also in some ways, a challenging yoga. Most yoga practiced in the West is Yang (or muscular) yin poses reaches deeper, to the tissue's that house the meridians, connective tissue. The slow pace and deep practice which has it's roots in Taoist tradition, is extremely valuable to increase real health, effecting the mobility of the body and encouraging life flow. Yin practice can act as a natural pain reliever, and posture corrector. This practice helps prevent degenerative dis-ease and slows down the aging process. More impressive perhaps, is the effect on the mind and emotions. Yin practice brightens the mood, calms anxiety, clears the mind, enhances will-power as well as reconnects us to our innate goodness and inner wisdom.

Tai Chi Chuan is a sophisticated system of mind/body exercise and one of three “internal” martial arts. This class is an ongoing class for students who already have a background in tai chi or who have "graduated" from the beginning class and would like to continue their tai chi training. In this class, students receive ongoing instruction in jin cultivation exercises, the Tung family (Yang style) second and third slow sets, double-hand push hands, and martial applications.
